SECTOR:
Private Clients
LOCATION:
North Wales
CLIENT:
Discerning Owner with interest in old buildings, history and heritage.

DESCRIPTION:
Mid Eighteenth Century Gothic former hunting Lodge. Listed as Grade II building of historical and architectural importance.

Mentioned in ‘Cambria Depicta' (1818), and Thomas Pennant’s ‘Journey to Snowdonia’ (1791).

The completed project resulted in a delighted and ‘notoriously hard to please’ client - his words, not ours.

PROJECT DETAILS:
GNAA sourced (Gloucestershire), supplied and installed oak fielded panelling, associated carving and contemporary fire surround to a reception room.

GNAA also supplied three matching seven-feet Gothic windows and double round-top doors for creation of a castellated garden room.

Also provided were Minton tiles for Regency fireplace; York stone flags for paths and nineteenth century Chinoiserie incense burner wall mounting for lounge decoration.

SUMMARY:
Sourcing suitable complete panelled room took a total of three months. Fitting took one week. Remainder of materials and artefacts supplied from stock.
