Solution: discovered spiral staircase in former
Merseyside Passenger Transport Depot and re-modeled
it for domestic use.
Challenge:
to source decorative ironwork for both interior wall
panels provide iron gates and stone mullion windows
for exterior use.
Solution: items found in France.
SUMMARY:
The client’s undoubted vision and construction
skills have produced a home of real character and the
Victorian Lodge house is now a good advert for the sympathetic
use of architectural antiques.
